Mr. Touchdown himself - Aaron Rodgers.

1-2-3 Dominate!!!

That is the chant that the Packers use after warm-ups and that is exactly what they did today. Brett Who? Am I right?

Packers fans were already treated to an exorcism of some #4 demons earlier this year when the Packers beat the Vikings at Lambeau Field. But this… well, for the Vikings this game was just embarrassing. Poor coaching, poor playing, poor everything. Poor Brett Favre.

Oh wait…

I don’t feel sorry for you anymore, Brett. You turned out to be kind of a dick. I didn’t need the text messages you sent me to prove it. You had an amazing season last year, but you threw that fatal pick just as you always do. You should have hung it up. We might have been able to forgive you for one year in Minnesota, for your “revenge” season. But coming back this year… saying this was ‘the best team you’ve ever been on’?

No. That ain’t right. And it obviously wasn’t the best team today. Just look at the 31-3 SPANKING the Packers handed you. The best team YOU ever played on was the one in 1996 (in Green Bay). That team won a Super Bowl? Remember???  Maybe you don’t… maybe you really have taken one too many shots to the head. Maybe that’s why you can’t remember what text messages you sent and to whom. But I can see how you would be confused with Deanna Favre‘s striking resemblance to Jenn Sterger. Well… at least it’s obvious that you have a type.

Ok, enough of the Favre-bashing. You’ve taken your lumps now #4. You can’t say you haven’t gotten what you deserved. On to the game…

Let’s see, Aaron Rodgers, 4 passing touchdowns and a 141.3 passer rating. Greg Jennings had 3 touchdown catches, and was his awesome self. Driver looked decent coming back from injury and James Jones had a beautiful corner catch in the end zone. But as great as the offense was today, the real credit goes to…

the Defense! Just another dominant performance from the Green Bay defense today, and I loved watching every second of it. Woodson was great, as usual. Matthews only had 1 sack, but he freed up someone else on nearly every single play. Tramon Williams had an awesome pick, which led to the James Jones score just before half time. Collins and Peprah are playing pretty well at safety too.

There are also the unknown heroes on the D-line: Raji, Pickett and Jenkins. They are getting better every week. Let’s also credit Hawk, Zombo and Bishop for shutting down Adrian Peterson. And Clay Matthews too, of course. They made the Purple Jesus look average in the game, something that not many teams can do.

This victory pulls the Packers ahead of the Bears with a 7-3 record and an ever so slight lead in the NFC North. It was a great day to be a Packer fan. To those Vikings fans out there… hope you enjoyed our sloppy seconds! Sucks to be you!

I guess I’m supposed to mention a food here too – I got pretty cheesy today, so let’s talk about Cheez Whiz. Is it really cheese? Is it really whiz? I don’t think anybody is really sure what it is. It tastes good on crackers, though. And here’s something you can do with it… this makes a great game day snack.

Happy Reading and Happy eating y’all!! Have a great Thanksgiving, and-
Go Pack Go!!

Brett Favre has his revenge – For the second time. Vikings 38 Packers 26.

A dish best served cold or with Tater tot hot dish.

Well it’s official. Brett Favre has proven once and for all that the Packers management made a mistake by letting him get away. By forcing Favre out, they brought the debacle that was sunday’s game upon all of us. He smoked the Packers secondary like a rotisserie chicken, throwing for four touchdowns this week. He had Ted Thompson crying, and wiping the proverbial egg off of his face.

I have never much cared for GM Ted Thompson, but this is getting out of hand. His draft picks over the years have been suspect at best, and he hasn’t done anything in the time that he has been with Green Bay to improve the offensive line. In fact, since the arrival of good old TT, the offensive line has gotten much, MUCH worse. It is a travesty against the fans and the Green and Gold faithful. It is a tragedy of what could have been if he had made better choices. I loved the look on his face from the booth as Green Bay was getting crushed in the 2nd Quarter. It seemed to say “Whoops, I’m an a$$ who couldn’t manage my way out of a wet paper bag.” Seriously though, his face was as red as a sun-ripened tomato.

I never liked very many of the moves that TT made since coming to Green Bay, and this is just the icing on the cake. If you look at what happened to Seattle, it is pretty much the same thing. That crappy franchise has Ted Thompson’s finger prints all over it. It’s about time we called for him to get the @$#$ out of town on the horse he rode in on.

But enough of the heartache – let’s all go enjoy some tater tot hot dish in honor of our old friend number four. It is apparently a Minnesota delicacy. I almost feel kind of bad for Mr. Favre, seeing as how he was crying at the end of the game and pining for the glory years when “I loved them just as much as they loved me.” Almost, but not quite. He is still a traitor, after all. Here’s the video of the post game press conference with Brett:

Also something to watch for next week: Aaron Rodgers was severely limping after the game. Will he be able to play? Those multiple sacks he is taking every week are adding up. Add your thoughts on this by leaving a comment.

T.T.H.D. – It can stand for either Tater Tot Hot Dish, or Ted Thompson Has Diarrhea (of the brain.)
