Packers SPANK the Vikings in Minnesota. Packers 31 – Vikings 3.

Mr. Touchdown himself - Aaron Rodgers.

1-2-3 Dominate!!!

That is the chant that the Packers use after warm-ups and that is exactly what they did today. Brett Who? Am I right?

Packers fans were already treated to an exorcism of some #4 demons earlier this year when the Packers beat the Vikings at Lambeau Field. But this… well, for the Vikings this game was just embarrassing. Poor coaching, poor playing, poor everything. Poor Brett Favre.

Oh wait…

I don’t feel sorry for you anymore, Brett. You turned out to be kind of a dick. I didn’t need the text messages you sent me to prove it. You had an amazing season last year, but you threw that fatal pick just as you always do. You should have hung it up. We might have been able to forgive you for one year in Minnesota, for your “revenge” season. But coming back this year… saying this was ‘the best team you’ve ever been on’?

No. That ain’t right. And it obviously wasn’t the best team today. Just look at the 31-3 SPANKING the Packers handed you. The best team YOU ever played on was the one in 1996 (in Green Bay). That team won a Super Bowl? Remember???  Maybe you don’t… maybe you really have taken one too many shots to the head. Maybe that’s why you can’t remember what text messages you sent and to whom. But I can see how you would be confused with Deanna Favre‘s striking resemblance to Jenn Sterger. Well… at least it’s obvious that you have a type.

Ok, enough of the Favre-bashing. You’ve taken your lumps now #4. You can’t say you haven’t gotten what you deserved. On to the game…

Let’s see, Aaron Rodgers, 4 passing touchdowns and a 141.3 passer rating. Greg Jennings had 3 touchdown catches, and was his awesome self. Driver looked decent coming back from injury and James Jones had a beautiful corner catch in the end zone. But as great as the offense was today, the real credit goes to…

the Defense! Just another dominant performance from the Green Bay defense today, and I loved watching every second of it. Woodson was great, as usual. Matthews only had 1 sack, but he freed up someone else on nearly every single play. Tramon Williams had an awesome pick, which led to the James Jones score just before half time. Collins and Peprah are playing pretty well at safety too.

There are also the unknown heroes on the D-line: Raji, Pickett and Jenkins. They are getting better every week. Let’s also credit Hawk, Zombo and Bishop for shutting down Adrian Peterson. And Clay Matthews too, of course. They made the Purple Jesus look average in the game, something that not many teams can do.

This victory pulls the Packers ahead of the Bears with a 7-3 record and an ever so slight lead in the NFC North. It was a great day to be a Packer fan. To those Vikings fans out there… hope you enjoyed our sloppy seconds! Sucks to be you!

I guess I’m supposed to mention a food here too – I got pretty cheesy today, so let’s talk about Cheez Whiz. Is it really cheese? Is it really whiz? I don’t think anybody is really sure what it is. It tastes good on crackers, though. And here’s something you can do with it… this makes a great game day snack.

Happy Reading and Happy eating y’all!! Have a great Thanksgiving, and-
Go Pack Go!!
