Packers’ Ryan Grant out for Season

Well it’s official. The Packers number one RB Ryan Grant is out for the season. It turns out that the ankle injury he suffered while playing in this weekend’s game against the Eagles was much worse than what was initially expected and will need surgery.

This means that backup RB Brandon Jackson is the starter from here on out and the Packers have also signed running back Dimitri Nance, who will most likely be the new 3rd-down back.

Justin Harrell (DT) also suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the same game. This will likely be the end of his career with the Packers because of his history of injuries. For now he is on injured reserve, but I’ll keep you updated. Thanks for reading!
